Call for Papers
The 8th International Conference on Neural Network and Artificial Intelligence (ICNNAI'2014)
3 - 6 June, 2014
Brest State Technical University
Belarus
The 8th International Conference on Neural Network and Artificial Intelligence (ICNNAI'2014) will be held during 3-6 June 2014 in Brest, Belarus.
We solicit high quality original papers with an International level.
Topics are theory/application/implementation of neural networks those we are to claim to be intelligent.
A crucial difference from our previous conferences of this series,
see for example ICNNAI-2010, will be that
it is planned to publish the proceedings with Springer in their Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series (final approval still pending).
The Springer, "after a tough discussion in their editorial board," as they let us know,
has accepted the ICCNAI'2014 for publication as a CCIS volume, still conditional though.
We need great cooperation of you all, for the Springer's final decision on accepting our proceedings to be published as a CCIS volume.
We'd highly appreciate it if you'd be joining this seemingly-changing-our-history event with your excellent papers. It's also worthy to visit Belarus, a land of fairly well-kept secret. In this lovely wonder land, with luck, you'll find something that could not be discovered elsewhere.
SESSIONS
Conference comprises of the following three categories of session.
PLENARY SESSIONS
- Professor Koji Nakamura (Kanazawa University, Japan)
ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION
- Title is on " Will Artificial Neural Network Realize a Real Human-like Intelligence?
- We call for 5-minutes talks to break the ice for discussion.
PEER-REVIEWED CONTRIBUTIONS
This session is arranged in a single track expecting hot interdisciplinary interactions. Each talk will be assigned 20 minutes following 10 minutes of discussion.
- SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- All papers must be submitted as PDF.
- The submitted paper has to be written in English, and more importantly, substantially new research which has not been published previously.
- All submissions will be blind reviewed (See below) in terms of quality, impact and relevance to the area of Artificial Intelligence by Neural network.
- Submission should be no longer than 12 pages in the Springer's format (See below).
- Papers should be submitted by 25 February 2014 via Springer's Online Conference Service (OCS) (See below).
- By submitting a paper, the authors agree that, if their paper is accepted, they will prepare a camera-ready version in accordance with the changes requested by the reviewers by the deadline for camera-ready papers. They also should agree that at least one author will attend the conference and present the paper.
- INSTRUCTION FOR AUTHORS
- The paper should be followed the Springer conference paper templates, which can be find in their
author's instruction page
(Note that the paper format of CCIS is the same as that of LNCS).
In LaTeX, to simply put, start with the line "\documentclass{llncs}" with "llncs.sty" being in the same directory as your draft. Don't forget to remove authors name by replacing with "\author{}" for double blind review.
- REVIEW
- All papers received will be reviewed by at least three referees in the area of the topic.
- The program committee will select papers to ensure the sessions have academic quality
as well as interesting and inspiring for the attendees.
- We will follow a blind reviewing policy.
Therefore,
the paper must not contain any references that would identify the authors.
That is, make your submission anonymous by removing all references to the authors.
